Kathua; 3rd October :- In view of the growing “Menace of Drugs Abuse” and to aware the general public especially youth about its ill effects of Drugs Excise Range Kathua under the overall supervision of Excise Commissioner J&K Sh. Subhash Chibber and under direct supervision of Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive) Jammu Sh Sanjay K. Bhatt , today organized an “Anti Drug Awareness Rally” under the banner of the “SAY NO TO DRUGS, SAY YES TO LIFE”.
The Anti Drug Awareness rally started from DC office Kathua and concluded at Dreamland Park Kathua and organised by the Excise team Kathua under ETO Kathua Range Mudasir Nazir and Excise Team compromising Inspector Dheeraj Pathania, KaranJeet Chaggotra, Sub Inspector Madan Singh, Shubham Azad and Excise guards in which Students of Govt. High Secondary School For Boys/Girls as well as Teaching Staff respectable/prominent citizens and Police officers also witnessed the occasion. More than 100 students/staff members participated in the rally and raised various Anti- Drug Slogans.
In addition,DC Kathua Sh. Rajesh Sharma addressed the young students and highlighted the growing concern of drug trafficking in the district and stressed the importance of collective efforts in shielding the younger generation from falling prey to substance abuse.
The main objective of this campaign is to grab the attention of people and to spread the message against abuse of Drugs shifting focus to positive outcomes for this and next generation.
