Kathua, Oct 16 — During the intervening night of October 15 and 16, 2025, a truck bearing registration number PB09X-2768, loaded with mixed firewood, was seized by Team No. 4 of Jasrota Forest Range at Seshwan Morh on the National Highway at around 2:45 a.m.
The operation was led by Ashish Kumar, Block Officer Dinga Amb Forest Block, along with team members Mohinder Pal Dogra (FGD) and others, under the direct supervision of Range Officer Jasrota, Shri Munish Gupta, and overall supervision of DFO Kathua, Shri Ankit Sinha (IFS).
The seized truck along with the firewood has been brought to Hariachack Nursery for further legal action and verification.
