In a disturbing reflection of our social media-obsessed culture, a video has emerged showing a man hanging from a moving train while attempting to film an Instagram Reel.\u00a0The heart-stopping video shows the young man losing balance and hanging from the exterior of a speeding train’s window.\u00a0The footage is reportedly from Uttar Pradesh and the train is said it be travelling from Kasganj to Kanpur.<\/p>\n

The video<\/a>\u00a0captures the man clinging to the hand of another passenger as the train hurtles through the countryside. Miraculously, disaster was averted when the train came to a stop, allowing the man to disembark safely. However, the stunt could have had fatal consequences if the train had not stopped or if the man had lost his grip and fallen from the moving train.<\/p>\n

After the video went viral, the ADG zone Kanpur took to X and directed the Government Railway Police UP (GRP) to look into the issue. GRP subsequently tagged SP GRP Agra, directing them to investigate further.<\/p>\n

The incident has sparked widespread outrage and raised serious concerns about safety and the reckless pursuit of online fame. Many condemned the man’s reckless behaviour and urged others not to attempt similar stunts. One user wrote, “I don’t know what has happened to people; they are putting their lives at risk under the influence of Reels.”<\/p>\n

Another commented, “Risking life for a Reel is not worth it! Glad he was saved, but I hope this serves as a lesson\u2014safety should always come first.” A third said, “Next time, maybe try a stunt that doesn’t involve a one-way ticket to the hospital.”<\/p>\n

A fourth user added, “Reels are temporary, but broken bones can be permanent. Some stunts just aren’t worth the price.”<\/p>\n
