The initial registration period for the most sought-after H-1B visas for foreign guest workers for fiscal 2026 will open at noon Eastern Time (10:30 pm IST) on March 7 and run through noon Eastern Time (10:30 pm IST) on March 24, US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) said on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

During this period, prospective petitioners and representatives must use a USCIS online account to register each beneficiary electronically for the selection process and pay the associated registration fee for each beneficiary, it said.<\/p>\n

The USCIS further said that the FY 2026 H-1B cap will use the beneficiary-centric selection process launched in FY 2025. The US fiscal begins on October 1.<\/p>\n
