Notably, Ms Sitharama presented her eighth consecutive Union Budget for the financial year 2025-26 today. Her speech, which came with a big bonanza for taxpayers, lasted for an hour and 17 minutes, shorter than the previous year’s speech spanning 1 hour and 25 minutes.<\/p>\n
“Our economy is the fastest growing among all major economies. Our development track record for the past 10 years and structural reforms have drawn global attention. Confidence in India’s capability and potential has only grown in this period.
