Government Degree College (GDC) Marheen celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic zeal<\/strong> on its campus. The programme was organized under the patronage of the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Anupama Gupta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The celebration began with the unfurling of the National Tricolor<\/strong> by the worthy Principal, followed by the singing of the National Anthem<\/strong>, filling the campus with a spirit of nationalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the gathering, Prof. (Dr.) Anupama Gupta highlighted the historical significance of Republic Day<\/strong> and paid tribute to the great heroes who sacrificed their lives for the nation<\/strong>. She emphasized the importance of the Indian Constitution<\/strong> and urged students to uphold constitutional values while fulfilling their responsibilities as citizens to strengthen democracy. She also underscored the ideals of unity, equality, and integrity<\/strong>, which form the backbone of the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students of GDC Marheen actively participated in the celebrations with great enthusiasm. The college campus was beautifully decorated with national flags, lights, rangoli, and flowers<\/strong>, adding to the festive atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faculty members present on the occasion included Dr. Arun Dev Singh, Dr. Balbinder Singh, Prof. Anoop Sharma, Dr. Munisha Devi, Dr. Shallu Rani, Prof. Preeti, Prof. Charan, Prof. Sonia Saini<\/strong>, along with other non-teaching staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme featured cultural performances<\/strong>, including patriotic songs and thought-provoking presentations by students.
