Bhawani Youth team beat Sandhu XI Ludhiana by 04 Wickets & Vicky XI Pathankot team thrashed KKR XI team by 01 wicket.
KATHUA, 30 DEC: On day 12th, two matches were played today in 13th Police Martyr’s memorial North Zone T- 20 Cricket Championship 2024-25 at Sports Stadium Kathua.Ist match played in between Bhawani Youth Academy Delhi team Vs Sandhu XI Ludhiana whereas 2nd match was played in between KKR XI vs Bhawani Youth Academy team.
The first match was played in the morning session of the 12th day of the tournament between Bhawani Youth Academy Delhi Vs Sandhu XI Ludhiana team wherein Bhawani Youth Academy team won the toss and chose to bowl first. While batting first Sandhu XI Ludhiana team scored 140 runs for loss of 07 wickets in 20 overs The main scorer of team was Manish who has highest knock of 40 runs in 26 balls with 02 boundaries alongwith 02 sixers and Sachit Sharma scored 29 runs of 18 balls with 04 boundaries and 01 sixer. While on chasing a target of 141 runs Bhawani Youth Academy team easily chased down the given target of 141 runs in 19.2 overs at the loss of 06 wickets in which Aditya Bhandari Scored 39 runs off 26 balls with the help of 03 boundaries and 02 sixers. In this way Bhawani Youth Academy team won this match by 04 wickets and top most wicket taker of the Bhawani Youth Academy team was Prashant Yadav who did splendid bowling and took 03 crucial wickets and gave 20 runs in 04 overs as well as scored 23 runs of 10 balls with the help of 03 boundaries for which he was declared as Man Of the Match.
The second match was played between Vicky XI Pathankot vs KKR XI wherein KKR XI won the toss and chose to Bat first. While batting first KKR XI scored 139 runs for the loss of 09 wickets in 20 overs.The main scorer of the team was Abhishek who scored 34 runs in 37 deliveries with 03 boundaries and 01 sixer along with Sumit who scored 21 runs in 23 balls with the help of 02 boundaries and 01 sixer. While chasing a target of 140 runs Vicky XI Pathankot team easily chased down the given target and scored 144 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 09 wickets in which only Kuwar Pathak Scored 32 runs in 18 balls with the help of 06 boundaries.Therefore Vicky XI Pathankot team thrashed KKR XI team * by 01 wicket and won this match in which second top most scorer was *Kuwar Pathak who scored much winning knock of 32 runs in 18 balls with the help of 06 boundaries as well as he did splendid bowling spell of 04 overs in which he too 05 wickets while giving 21 runs for which he was declared as Man of the Match for his brilliant performance.
